President Barack Obama came to Mason’s Patriot Center on Friday, March 19, to give a major address regarding health care reform.
Thousands of people — Mason students, faculty and staff members, as well as the general public — attended the event.
Mason Student Government President Dev Dasgupta led the audience in the pledge of allegiance prior to the speech, and Mason University Professor of Music Patricia Miller sang the national anthem.
