Honors College student James Condo has trained in the emerging field of Next System Studies, which involves research into questions of systemic design, change, and movements.

This month, Paul Vosti will graduate from George Mason University with a master’s degree in finance, part of the program’s first cohort of 14 students.

After more than 32 years of service in the Chamber of Commerce, Mason alum Debbie Jones is retiring this December.

With the support of her Mason mentors, doctoral student Shrishti Singh has achieved her goal of developing a promising new technology that would allow cancer to be visualized in deep tissue and perhaps diagnosed earlier.

A double major and member of the Honors College, Juan Escalera came to Mason as an alumnus of the university’s Early Identification Program.

During her time at Mason, University Scholar Aloana Hall had internships at the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

For almost 10 years, Melissa Cannarozzi has worked in Mason’s Office of University Branding. She has spent half that time taking classes part-time and working on a master of arts in history.

Mason senior communications major Jalen Stubbs participated in a "Future U" podcast at the Chronicle Ideas Festival. The podcast, with two students from other universities, focused on student experiences in higher education.

Among the resources available to students to make sure they are on the right path are fellow students trained to be “peer academic advisors.”

For Mason Korea students, the transition from Songdo, Korea, to Fairfax, Virginia, can be challenging, but the opportunities are immense. Many students pursuing their degree at Mason Korea are looking to a future career in the United States. This makes their time in Fairfax critical. The School of Business accounting program is one of the most popular degrees offered at Mason Korea, and faculty in Fairfax work hard to offer students support for their future career success.
